Formerly South Bay Mental Health, the 30-year-old company is an industry leader in adult behavioral health, substance abuse counseling, children’s behavioral health and early childhood services, with an outreach program unparalleled to any other behavioral health care and family services in the area.
The South Bay Community Services brand direction was chosen to best exemplify the range of behavioral health offered, as well as to accentuate the company’s commitment to the people it serves. The new logo portrays a mosaic sunset on the bay, representing South Bay’s mission to encourage individuals and families to become self-sufficient and live as independently as their abilities allow. The end result is a completed puzzle of health when all pieces are working together.

In 2012, the company was acquired by Community Intervention Services.
