Behavioral Health Services

At South Bay Community Services, we offer a continuum of behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults and their families. Our services include adult behavioral health, substance abuse counseling, children’s behavioral health, autism services and early childhood services.

Our services are customized to meet each person’s unique needs. We provide both outreach services, as well as a full range of services at 23 facilities throughout New England. Our clinicians frequently travel to homes, schools, foster homes, residential programs, churches, child care programs, adult health settings and shelter programs – wherever our consumers feel most comfortable.

A way to stay informed about your care. People receiving services from South Bay can request a secure and simple account to access basic information about visits, schedules and care.

Referral Information

To make a referral to any South Bay program in Massachusetts, please call our Admissions/Referrals Department at
800-244-4691. A knowledgeable and caring Admissions/Referrals Specialist will provide you with information about South Bay’s programs. Admissions/Referrals Specialists will also help to identify insurance benefits and assist with any necessary approvals for services. To make a referral to our Birth to Three Autism program in Connecticut, please call the infoline at (800) 505-7000.

Early Childhood Services are billed to insurance companies. In the state of Massachusetts, the Department of Public Health covers costs that are not paid by insurance companies including deductibles and co-payments. The Department of Public Health also covers the cost of services in the event that a child is without insurance. In the state of Connecticut, the Office of Early Childhood is the lead agency.
